Leysin

Leysin is situated on a terrace at over 1200 m above sea level and offers a magnificent view of the Dents du Midi mountain group towards Mont Blanc and of the Rhone plain. In the past, Leysin was known as a lung health resort because of its sunny and mild climate. In the meantime, the village has developed into a year-round holiday resort. Leysin is connected to the transport network by a rack railway that takes around 35 minutes to Aigle.
